Zinc selenide (ZnSe) is an inorganic compound with excellent optical properties, especially in the infrared spectral region with high and uniform optical transmittance. Zinc selenide is a yellow transparent polycrystalline material with a crystalline particle size of about 70 μm and a transmittance range of 0.5-15 μm, with high transmittance especially in the range of 0.5-19 μm.
